About Us
Business Growth Community (BGC) actively facilitate business to business connections, helping your business raise its profile, increase its valuable contacts and develop new contracts, we connect your businesses through both online and at face to face or hybrid events with influential audiences that you can build relationships with to help you connect, grow and gain referrals to do business with. We work hard to help bring businesses together and help our members connect to existing new contacts by providing a catalyst of events to help them grow their businesses. From business lunches to conferences and awards, we have something for everyone. Famously relaxed and informal, our events attract business owners, directors, and executives from a rich mix of business sectors.
These are challenging times, and not all businesses are getting the help and support they need through government funding schemes. We are committed to helping all businesses reach out and connect. The premise of this group is to learn who the members are and interact with them, referring to your contacts with members when the moment occurs. A member’s job is to get to know who the members are and provide insight into who you are.
Plans will see the start of our BGC Conference and Exhibition and BGC Awards to celebrate and recognize those members and businesses who have against all odds have succeeded during these challenging times.

Partnering
BGC occasionally partners with organizations and companies wishing to build relationships with a specific business community, either by area or sector. These commissions can be on a consultancy basis or with specific deliverables on a project basis.

What you need to know
The Community is about much more than simply showing up and trying to sell your products. The relaxed and friendly format of BGC Networking meetings encourages members to form relationships, creating an invaluable business tool. Members are very generous at helping each other out with any business challenges or opportunities, there are always members who can help either directly or through the network’s forum. Networking is about building relationships with people over the long term, not about making a quick sale following a first meeting. It takes time to get to know and trust people and you can only achieve this by regularly attending our networking events.
Whilst the businesses at events may not need or want your product or services, they may know someone who does. This could happen in a month or a year down the line, so always treat others with respect. Many networkers will tell you that their biggest deals have been because of the most unlikely contacts. What We Believe
We believe that businesses can succeed quicker and easier by helping each other.
So, we set out to fill a gap. A gap where local decision makers and business owners could find an affordable and practical support structure to help them overcome the two biggest challenges that small to medium sized businesses face…lack of cash flow and lack of expertise. In fact, how much easier business would be if you had a steady stream of new business being provided together with the knowledge of how to maximize every opportunity that this provides?
- Systems and processes to enable members to build trusted alliances and to find out how they can help each other when and where possible, and without pressure.
- A first-class training and development curriculum delivered by experts in their field and designed to allow small businesses the ability to access training normally only affordable by larger companies.
How do we do it?
Our members meet monthly in a selected location for a 2-4 hours networking meeting which follows our unique ‘connect, learn and grow structure, meeting/event types vary from month to month. This combination of building genuine business relationships, receiving excellent quality business coaching and personal development training together with the increased business from our word-of-mouth referral program is what helps our members to achieve an average of 10x their return on their monthly membership fees.
