Membership
BGC annual membership is for the business, not just an individual, regardless of size, area, or sector. Anyone from the company or business can participate in the membership and attend events. Our membership offers excellent value for money and visitors can attend non-members-only events at $50.00 per event.
All our networking events are currently hybrid and are completely free of charge to members (until 31.12.2025 at which point we will review).
Membership and Networking Events Benefits
- Networking is the cultivation of mutually beneficial, give and take win-win relationships. It is a social activity that allows us to build a network of strategic alliances and advocates that can help us in our business. BGC provides a proven structure to help you build your business relationships.
- Training – Networking is a vital tool for business success and is a wonderful way to bring in new customers and clients. However, there is more to business success than simply networking; there are many other skills required to help you grow and develop a successful business thus BGC has developed an extremely comprehensive business training and personal development coaching program which runs for about 30-60 min at selected events.

When can I Network?
Obviously, everyone has different circumstances and will prefer to network at various times of the day. Most of our events take place in one of the following time slots:

Live
Online meetings

Breakfast events
May start as early as 7am but many at the slightly civilized time of 8am – 10am

Coffee events
10am -12pm

Lunchtime events
12pm – 2pm

Evening events
Dinners and Cocktails
The rules for operation are extremely simple but dedicated to growing our business relationships.
- Generating real leads when they arise.
- Providing a forum for each member to actively meet with each Team member getting to know them.
- During a meeting 5-10 members are allowed 1 minute to provide an info-mercial about their business and promote the type of lead they are seeking.
- Each meeting 1 to 2 members presents a 5-to-10-minute presentation about their business.
- Guests are always welcome; in fact, we encourage it.
Our types of Networking Events
It is impossible to summarize the typical structure of our events, but many will contain one or more of the following elements:
- Informal networking time over coffee/refreshments
- Opportunity for a short pitch to the room
- 1-2-1 chats – a chance for an in-depth chat with one or more event attendees
- Presentation by one of the group members or external speakers on a topic of interest
- Round table discussion on a particular business problem
- Passing on of referrals
